Slipknot fans give a nickname to the member who replaced Craig Jones.

The name of the new member responsible for samples and keyboards has not yet been released.

Slipknot fans have already come up with a nickname for Craig Jones ' mysterious replacement , after the band posted a series of close-ups of each current member's masks on their official Instagram profile.

of Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande as Jay Weinberg's successor , the band's new era includes a new single, "Long May You Die," the first recorded with Casagrande, which is yet to have a release date. Slipknot is also preparing to celebrate 25 years of activity with a world tour, which includes a stop in Brazil on October 19th and 20th at KNOTFEST in São Paulo.

Amidst all this, fans remain curious to know who is replacing Craig Jones. For the first time, the metal legends almost immediately confirmed Casagrande's identity, but have yet to reveal who has been in charge of the samples since June 2023.

While Slipknot's official profile shared images of each member's mask with a caption stating their name and role in the band, the only member who has not yet been officially identified is being nicknamed by fans with codenames such as "Greg Bones," "The Gimp," "Leatherface," "Zipper Dude," and "Hoodie Guy."

The Instagram post caption simply reads: “Samples/Media,” and doesn’t assign a name to this masked musician. “The name is Media. Samples Media,” jokes one comment, referencing the legendary James Bond character’s introductory line – “The name is Bond. James Bond.”
