Jay Weinberg , drummer for Slipknot , appeared on a radio show on station T95 and gave more details about the band's new album.
Weinberg expressed his happiness with the group's work on this new project and mentioned a new voice that Corey Taylor used on some songs ( Brave Words ). "There are some things that are truly incredible," he said. "On some songs, Corey adopted this other voice that is totally new and very exciting. I remember the first time I heard some of the things he was adding to the demos and everything, and I thought, 'My God, this is going to be amazing,' and it's only gotten better since then."
Although there is still no set release date, the new Slipknot album should arrive in the world within three months , according to Corey Taylor. “The cover is ready and we just decided on the name. I'm not going to tell you now, but we're very excited. Hopefully, in less than three months we'll have a new single and after that we'll release the album,” said the vocalist.
Slipknot has a date set to visit Brazil. The band will be in São Paulo for Knotfest and also in Rio de Janeiro for a joint show with Bring Me The Horizon .
