The band's new album is expected to arrive in mid-2019
During a conversation with a journalist on Twitter, Corey Taylor revealed that the new Slipknot will begin recording in January 2019.
The frontman accidentally gave away the information when two users were discussing the predicted release of a new Tool in January 2020. Taylor replied, “No, no, 2019! That’s what I said. We’ll record in January. The album comes out in mid-2019.”
After realizing his mistake, the vocalist did not delete the tweet and said he hopes the Tool album will arrive sooner than expected.
At the end of October, Slipknot surprised fans with the release of the single "All Out Life," 2014 album .5: The Gray Chapter
In no- 2019. That's what I said. Recording in Jan. Album out middle of 2019.
