Fans who attended Slipknot last Thursday, the 11th, at the Welcome To Rockville may have noticed that percussionist Shawn Crahan (also known as Clown ) was not present.

To justify his absence, the musician posted a video clip of his performance during Knotfest Los Angeles on November 5th. According to Clown, he tore a tendon in one of his biceps while hitting a barrel with a baseball bat on stage, and the video shows the exact moment of the accident "if you look closely enough."

“I underwent surgery today in Los Angeles, everything went well and I am recovering peacefully. I can hardly express how happy and blessed I am to be back on tour after everything we, as a community, have been through over the last two years. I promise I will see you all very soon. Thank you,” Crahan wrote.

Slipknot is scheduled to perform in Brazil in December 2022 with the first edition of Knotfest Brazil. We at Wikimetal have prepared a special list of the bands that will participate in the festival, along with an exclusive playlist. Check it out .
