The organizers of Knotfest Brasil 2024 announced this Friday (04), that the second Slipknot , on October 20, will no longer feature the album Iowa (2001) played in its entirety, but rather the band's debut album, Slipknot (1999). The first performance, on October 19, will continue with the band's "best of" career.
In January, when announcing the festival , the production company 30e stated that the second show would feature the group's debut album in the setlist. However, when the lineup was released in July , the album Iowa appeared as the setlist for that day.
However, today, the initial idea has come back into effect. In the press release, the production company states that the band will "play their debut album, 'Slipknot' (1999), in its entirety, complete with the costumes and masks used at the time of its release – something unprecedented for Brazilian fans."
It's worth noting that this will be Slipknot's first time in the country with Eloy Casagrande in the lineup.
A new attraction has also been announced for Knotfest 2024
The first date of Knotfest Brasil 2024, on October 19th, now includes another act, Seven Hours After Violet (SHAV) . It's worth remembering that the group will be the opening act for Babymetal in a sideshow on October 21st at Audio . More information about the complete lineup and ticket sales for the festival can be found here.
