“Birth Of The Cruel” will be on Slipknot’s new album We Are Not Your Kind
Slipknot has released another taste of their new album, We Are Not Your Kind. " Birth Of The Cruel" has just been released, accompanied by a vertical video showing the band members with their new masks.
Scheduled for release on August 9th, the album is produced by Greg Fidelman , of .5: The Gray Chapter.
Speaking to iHeartRadio Canada, Corey Taylor said it will be “heavy, experimental and very melodic. Lyrically, it’s the darkest I’ve been in a long time. I went through a very dark period, which was the fuel for the album’s lyrics. I tried to break free from the chains of depression, negativity. And the mood is very dark. People won’t know what to expect. It’s very crazy.”
