Slipknot released behind-the-scenes footage of the music video for the track "Unsainted" on the video's one-year anniversary .
The video marked the beginning of the band's new era for the acclaimed album We Are Not Your Kind, which dethroned pop singer Ed Sheeran from the top of the UK album charts.
The video was directed by the band's percussionist, M. Shawn Crahan, and featured references to iconic locations in the band's hometown of Des Moines, Iowa. The production also introduced the band members' new masks to the public.
