The group joined forces with Cedar Ridge Distillery for the new venture
Slipknot is the latest band to enter the world of beverages, teaming up with Cedar Ridge Distillery to create No. 9 Iowa whiskey.
“Slipknot and Cedar Ridge Distillery – two groups of people born and raised in Iowa and committed to quality and hard work,” said Shawn “Clown” Crahan when talking about the new product. He also explained that the drink will feature ingredients from their hometown.
No. 9 Iowa will be officially available for sale on August 10th, one day after the release of Slipknot's album, We Are Not Your Kind . The drink will also be sold during the band's Knotfest Roadshow tour.
In addition to the aforementioned beverage, which will sell for $39.99, the group will also sell No. 9 Reserve Iowa for $69.99. To learn more about this new product, click here.
