Slipknot releases dark teasers in countdown to new album.

'The End, So Far' will be released next Friday, September 30th.

Entering the countdown to the release of their new album, Slipknot has so far released three mysterious teasers with the names of the songs "Adderall", "Acidic" and "Medicine For the Dead".

The highly anticipated album The End, So Far arrives next Friday, the 30th. Slipknot's countdown began last Wednesday, the 21st, with a mysterious 1-minute teaser showing images of Corey Taylor throughout the years and saying "9 days: Adderall".

Initially, it was speculated that the band was hinting at the album's opening track as the next single, but the following day a new teaser was released, this time featuring images of guitarist Mick Thompson and the words "8 days: Acidic". This Friday, the featured member was guitarist Jim Root, with the message of 7 days.

"Adderall" and "Acidic" are tracks that are part of the tracklist of Slipknot's new album, The End, So Far .

The album, arriving on September 30th, is the successor to We Are Not Your Kind (2019) and promises to showcase a more experimental side of the band. The singles “The Chapeltown Rag”, “Yen” , and “The Dying Song (Time To Sing)” have already been released as a preview of what we can expect.

Due to the album title and some teasers showing Slipknot throughout the years, fans began speculating online that The End, So Far could be some kind of farewell from the band, but Corey Taylor denied the rumors.

“I’ll tell you one thing, some of you may have heard the news that Slipknot has a new album coming out very, very soon. The name of this album is called The End, So Far . And for those apocalyptic motherfuckers who think Slipknot is going to break up, that’s not the case. This simply represents the end of a moment and the beginning of the rest of our lives,” the singer said during a show.
