Corey Taylor explained a previous comment about Slipknot's new album being as heavy as Iowa.
Last year, Corey Taylor Slipknot 's new album would have "Iowa-level " . The comment circulated the internet until the release of the new single.
With "Unsainted ," the band's most melodic track, Taylor felt the need to clarify the comments.
In a tweet, the vocalist thanked the fans and talked about the album. “Thank you to the millions of #maggots around the world. Spoiler: the new album has Iowa . It also has Vol. 3 WANYK ( We Are Not Your Kind moments . Everyone is a critic, but I hope I've cleared up any misunderstandings. Enjoy the next chapter – see you all soon!”
The new album will be released on August 9th.
