Sleep Token released the single “Vore” last Wednesday, the 15th. The new release was accompanied by the announcement of their new album, Take Me Back to Eden , which will be available via Spinefarm Records on May 19th.
In 2023 alone, the band had already released four other songs: “ The Summoning ”, “ Chokehold ”, “ Granite ”, and “ Aqua Regia ”. The first of these even reached the number one spot on Spotify's Top 50 viral chart.
Take Me Back to Eden is the third album from Sleep Token and concludes the trilogy that began with Sundowning (2019) and This Place Will Become Your Tomb (2021). Pre-orders are now available .
“ Take Me Back To Eden features arguably the heaviest moments recorded by Sleep Token so far (in tracks like 'Vore' and 'The Summoning'), along with some of the most immediate and certainly the most emotional (referenced in 'Aqua Regia' and 'DYWTYLM'), as well as a range of other tones, textures and tangents brought throughout the work,” revealed the press release.
About Sleep Token
Formed in 2016, the British group brings together sounds of rock, metal, and indie pop. The identity of the members is a great mystery. All that is known is that the band is led by an entity nicknamed Vessel . The dark body paint and the use of Nordic runes and masks with Hindu symbolism only further fuel the curiosity and speculation of fans.
