"Repentless will be released in September"
Slayer revealed today that their new album, which follows the 2009 release “World Painted Blood,” will be called “Repentless” and will be released on September 9th. The announcement came via a video posted on the band's Facebook page (see below).
The album is produced by Terry Date (Pantera, Soundgarden, Deftones) and will be the first since Paul Bostaph returned to playing drums in 2013.
Two songs from the album have already been revealed by Slayer: Implode and When The Stillness Comes . Atrocity Vendor , a b-side from "World Painted Blood," will also be included in the album in a new version.
