According to the Mexican website Heavy Mextal, Slayer may return to South America as early as 2026. The website claims to have heard from industry sources connected to the tour negotiations.

According to the publication, the shows are expected to take place between November and December. The outlet also reported that talks for performances in Mexico are facing difficulties due to a lack of available dates in large arenas and stadiums.

“Following rumors about Slayer's visit to Mexico and South America, news has emerged, and now internal sources claim that the dates for the southern part of the continent are practically set and will likely take place between November and December. In the case of Mexico, negotiations have been complicated because the promoter responsible for the band's visit has no available venues due to the large number of shows, so we are in a situation very similar to what happened with System Of A Down, who visited South America first. There is a possibility that the promoters and the band will meet to negotiate again next year to bring Slayer to Mexico, but only time will tell,” the source told Heavy Mextal [via Whiplash].

However, so far there is no official confirmation from the band or the production companies involved. If the new tour is confirmed, it will be Slayer's first visit to Brazil since the group resumed activities. The band's last performance in the country was in 2019, with shows in São Paulo and at Rock in Rio, in Rio de Janeiro.
