Slayer announced this Friday, the 29th, their long-awaited return to Brazil after 7 years.
The American band will perform a single show in the country on December 17th at Allianz Parque in São Paulo to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the album Reign In Blood (1986). The show will feature the album played in its entirety and will have Kreator and Korzus as opening acts.
Tickets will be available starting Monday, June 1st, in a pre-sale for Itaú customers. General sales begin on Wednesday, June 3rd, at 11:00 AM, both through the website Livepass.com.br.
The show in Brazil is another production by Move Concerts in partnership with 30e, presented by ITAÚ LIVE, Itaú Unibanco's proprietary music platform.
Slayer's last visit to Brazil was in October 2019 for two performances of the Final World Tour, marking their farewell to the stage. The group performed in São Paulo at Espaço das Américas (now Espaço Unimed) and at Rock In Rio, where they were the main headliner on the Sunset Stage during "Metal Day".
After retiring in November 2019, the quartet led by bassist and vocalist Tom Araya has been performing sporadically since 2024 and, in 2026, will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of Reign in Blood.
