Slash does not comment on possible reunion
In an interview with the Swiss channel Aftonbladet TV, guitarist Slash stated that he and Axl Rose are friends again.
Asked how this happened after so many years of feuding, Slash said: “I feel like it was probably long overdue. And now it’s really cool. To leave behind all that negative energy from so long.”
After the statement, Slash refused to comment on a possible Guns N' Roses reunion: “I wouldn’t know. Let’s change the subject because that question is old news.”
In an interview with CBS in May, the guitarist had already shown himself receptive to a reunion with the old band, saying: “If everyone wants it and if it’s for the right reasons, I think the fans would love it. I think it could be fun to do that at some point in life .
