The guitarist revealed that there was no malice in the songs.
During an interview, guitarist Slash was asked again about the #MeToo movement, but this time, the lyrics written by Guns N' Roses in the 80s came into the discussion.
When the movement broke out, I thought about it, and probably many other musicians thought about it too. But most of the time, at least with the people I know, it wasn't like that; it was the opposite.”
He also confessed to finding some of the songs "kind of sexist, but nothing to be taken seriously, as they weren't malicious."
The legendary guitarist is preparing to release his new album, Living the Dream, on September 21st alongside Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators.
