Slash posts a message of hope for those affected by the tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul.

Slash, who frequently tours Brazil, shared a post on Instagram regarding the flooding in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. As previously reported on Wikimetal, the band Guns N' Roses also released photos and statistics about the tragedy.

On the guitarist's Instagram, photos of the flooded cities were posted along with a more personal message addressed "to friends in Porto Alegre." Here's a translation of Slash's message:

"Thinking of all my friends in #PortoAlegre suffering from this flood disaster. God be with you. I hope the water recedes very soon! ; )"
