The song was re-recorded with Lemmy Kilmister
Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash revealed that he recorded a song with Chester Bennington , lead singer of Linkin Park .
In an interview with Variety , Slash said the collaboration happened when he was working on his first solo album, released in 2010.
“When I was making my first solo album, I worked with several different people, some of whom, for whatever reason, didn’t end up on the record,” he said. “One of them was Chester.”
“We made a song and Linkin Park didn’t allow it at the time, so I recorded it with Lemmy Kilmister [of Motörhead ].”
Although the song was scrapped, Slash says there's a chance Chester's version could still be released.
Bennington was found dead in July 2017. The death was ruled a suicide. Read more here .
