The musician revealed that he went to see his bandmate during the AC/DC tour.
Guitarist Slash spoke to the Los Angeles Times Axl Rose 's work with AC/DC after vocalist Brian Johnson was forced to leave the band upon discovering he had hearing problems.
Guns N' Roses vocalist accompanied AC/DC on the Rock Or Bust , which Slash attended and revealed he was surprised: “It was incredible. I confess I was skeptical about it, due to the band's stature, but he did a great job.”
He also commented that he doesn't know if he could do the same, "I would probably feel intimidated to replace someone – especially someone I admire (...) If I received such a request, I think I would prefer to be in a band that nobody expected me to be a part of."
Recently, the guitarist revealed that the band already has new material for an upcoming album. Meanwhile, Brian Johnson, Angus Young, and Phil Rudd of AC/DC were seen together at Warehouse Studios, where the band recorded their last three albums.
In September of this year, Slash reunited with Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators to release Living the Dream , his third solo album.
