The group will release two studio albums later this year
Veteran band Skyscraper has announced their return with the release of "The Truth," a track that will be part of their new studio album.
The announcement was accompanied by two new versions of “Happier Than I Am” and “Anguish” from their debut album, TVlization (2004). The tracks have been remastered and remixed for a re-release of the album on digital platforms.
“During the production process of the new album, we decided that the old material should also be re-released, but we didn't want it to be re-released as it was on the 2004 CD,” says Marcos Nazareth , guitarist and vocalist of the band, “So, we reworked the album's rhythm section and added some guitars. We remixed and remastered it so that everything sounds good, within the standard of 2018 albums.”
The versions also feature Fabio Elsas and Eduba Gioielli on drums and bass, respectively, "[Their sound] has always been a trademark of the band, and unfortunately they couldn't record the original version."
While preparing the re-release of TVlization , Skyscraper is working on his new studio album, and both are expected to be released independently and on all streaming platforms later this year.
Flávio Souza Jr (guitar) and Rick Rici (vocals) form Skyscraper alongside Nazareth, Elsas, and Gioielli.
