Skid Row's next album is expected to be released in 2019
Skid Row had several collaborators in the songwriting and recording process for the final installment of the United World Rebellion . The successor to Rise Of The Damnation, World Rebellion: Chapter Two (released in 2014) and United World Rebellion: Chapter One (released in 2013), will mark the first release with ZP Theart (Dragonforce, Tank, I Am I) on vocals since he officially joined the band last year.
In an interview with Australia's Heavy Music Magazine, bassist Rachel Bolan confirmed that the next album will likely be released in 2019.
“It’s the first time in our career that we’ve written with outsiders. We worked with friends, we went to friends first. Like Corey Taylor, who’s a good friend of ours. ‘Hey, let’s get together,’ ‘Okay,’ and we wrote a really cool song. And the cool part is that he’s a Skid Row fan and we’re Stone Sour and Slipknot fans. And then, Lzzy [Hale] and Joe [Hottinger] from Halestorm, we sat down with them and brought up some cool stuff. After all the laughs, because Joe Hottinger is one of the funniest people in the world, and it’s really hard to concentrate when the guy is making you laugh. They’re really fun, and these people, three of the four of them live in Nashville and we’re always at each other’s houses for vacations. We’ve become very close. And yeah, so we did that and it resulted in some good songs, and it opened a lot of doors in our minds.”
