In a recent interview on The Bad Decisions Skid Row  guitarist Dave “Snake” Sabo commented on the band's ongoing search for a new vocalist.

The musician confirmed that the band is testing out some names and feels they are “very close” to a decision, but in no rush to sign anyone [transcription from BLABBERMOUTH.NET ]: “Well, we’re looking for our next vocalist right now. Erik  Grönwall , our last vocalist, was great. Anyone listening to this, if they feel they have the products, definitely get in touch. We’re easy to find on social media. Just say, ‘Hey, I’m your guy’ — or a girl. Because it’s pretty open.”

Dave “Snake” continued: “We’re slowly taking our time, but we are doing tests with some people. We’re still testing. I have a feeling we’re pretty close, but we’re not rushing things too much. We’re just going to make sure we’re one hundred percent in agreement. And that’s where we are. And we have a few more people coming in the next few weeks to get into a room and play, and we’ll see what happens.”

Erik Grönwall left the band last March due to health issues. Lzzy Hale , from Halestorm , replaced Erik Grönwall for four Skid Row shows, and earned praise from Dave “Snake”: “She was incredible and opened my eyes to what these songs could be with a different voice.”

Dave “Snake” has once again ruled out a return for Sebastian Bach , who was fired in 1997, “not even for money”.
