Sebastian Bach's reunion with Skid Row almost happened
Sebastian Bach , former vocalist of Skid Row, led the band until 1996 when he was fired, and continues to talk about the band's return.
In an interview, the Rock Daydream Nation asked him how close he came to a reunion with the other members of the classic Skid Row lineup. The vocalist replied [transcription via Blabbermouth ]: “Yes. It came very close to becoming a reality— I don’t know how many years ago, like six, seven years ago. Right before they hired the vocalist [ ZP Theart ] from Dragonforce [at the end of 2015], I had the impression that we were going to get back together. And it was New Year’s Eve and I saw online: ‘Here’s the new Skid Row vocalist.’ And I said, ‘You guys have to be kidding me.’”
Bach continued: “And I texted everyone: ‘Fuck you. Get out of here.’ I was amazed that they were going to hire, like, vocalist number seven or number eight. And they said, ‘Oh, this is just temporary while we sort out the reunion issue.’ But I’m an emotional guy. That’s why I sing for a living. And when I saw the news, I wasn’t happy at all.”
