Martin says the band should have acted like Def Leppard
In an interview with Legendary Rock Interviews, former Black Sabbath vocalist Tony Martin criticized the band for reuniting without their original drummer, Bill Ward.
"The story is very strange, because they adore Bill. They never complained about him." Martin said the band acted hastily and should have waited as long as necessary for Ward to be able to participate in the reunion.
When asked if the reason was financial, Martin said, "He's the band's drummer, and he deserves a fair share.".
Martin adds to this by giving the example of Def Leppard, who waited until their drummer could adapt and play again after losing an arm. "This case shows that nothing is impossible these days. That's why I don't understand what happened with Black Sabbath.".
