In celebration of Children's Week, we decided to compile and revisit the best Wikimetal articles featuring children. In no particular order, here is our list:
11. Children sing metal music at talent show.
The children's sensation in Metal is undoubtedly the duo Murp, formed by siblings Aaralyn and Izzy. The duo became a worldwide sensation after their appearance on "America's Got Talent," the American talent show on NBC. Surprising the judges and the show's audience, the 9- and 6-year-olds performed a Heavy Metal song they composed themselves, titled "Zombie Skin."
In 2013, students from Loveland Music Academy in Colorado gained attention on YouTube for the quality of their studio-recorded performances of Iron Maiden songs.
09. 4-year-old girl plays Guns N' Roses, Iron Maiden and AC/DC.
In May 2014, a young Brazilian girl became a YouTube sensation. Eduarda Henklein, from Santa Catarina, at just 4 years old, was already mastering Iron Maiden, AC/DC, and Guns N' Roses on the drums.
08. Bruce Dickinson visits children's rehabilitation center.
In June 2015, in his first public appearance after the announcement of Iron Maiden's new album "Book Of Souls," vocalist Bruce Dickinson visited the Nordoff Robbins children's rehabilitation center. Dickinson sat with the children at the center and played music with some of the patients. The Nordoff Robbins program provides musical assistance to children with developmental difficulties and neurological conditions.

One of the biggest revelations of child metal came at the end of 2013, with the trio Unlocking The Truth, who conquered the internet with a video of a live performance in Times Square.
One of the most successful articles in our Scream For Me, WikiBrothers section, for contributors, deals with the parent/child relationship and the love for Rock music that spans generations.

05. Book educates with rock stars
Released in 2013, the book "Rock for Little Ones," by Laura Darré Macoriello, chose 13 rock stars to educate children. Ozzy teaches children that there's no need to be afraid of the dark. The Beatles, with a cartoon version of the famous Abbey Road cover, show the best way to cross the street.
04. Baby Heavy Metal
Listening to Pantera's "Fucking Hostile," baby Jonah became famous in 2011 for his stylish headbanging.
03. Headbangers help children with cancer.
In 2014, we publicized the Hair Fest festival initiative, which took place in Mexico City in April. The event innovated in its approach to charity. Supporting the recovery of children with cancer, the entrance fee to see the show featuring 9 metal bands was the donation of hair to make wigs, which were then given to children suffering from the disease.
02. James Hetfield plays with children.
In 2013, one of the greatest icons of Metal, guitarist James Hetfield, was honored at a charity event in California. Hetfield received the "Livin' The Dream" award for his contributions to the Little Kids Rock institute, which donates musical instruments to public schools.
01. Metal Kids Cover Sepultura
In February 2014, the brother duo Murp, who have already appeared high on the list, released a charismatic version of Sepultura's " Roots Bloody Roots Boots ."
