Compiling their recent list of the 100 best heavy metal albums of all time, Rolling Stone magazine asked several musicians in the genre to make their own selection.

The magazine requested lists Lars Ulrich , Rob Halford , Ozzy Osbourne , and now Corey Taylor from Slipknot. Check them out:

Anthrax – 'Worship Music' (2011) – “I can say this: I grew up with Among The Living and I would have included it if Anthrax hadn't released Worship Music.”

Iron Maiden – 'Somewhere in Time' (1986) – “'Wasted Years' was my soundtrack for years and I think it's one of the most perfect metal songs ever written. The music itself, not the riff or anything like that. It's so catchy. And you can still show it to people who don't like metal, and they'll like it. It has a good energy.”

Judas Priest – 'Screaming for Vengeance' (1982) – “This whole album is incredible. And the title track is ridiculous. Just hearing those screams coming out of the speakers made me think, 'What?! I should be listening to this?' But it's such an amazing album that it really showed the band's evolution, how incredible they are.”

Korn – 'Korn' (1994) – “I think people forget how explosive and groundbreaking it was when Korn came along. I'd put it on the same level as Appetite for Destruction or Nevermind in terms of albums that changed things culturally.”

Megadeth – 'Peace Sells… But Who's Buying?' (1986) – “This whole album – which is a riff clinic – is very dark and good. It's probably the album that made me like Megadeth.”

Metal Church – 'The Dark' (1986) – “This album is killer. If people haven't heard it, it's so underrated… The quality of this album is critical.”

Metallica – 'Master of Puppets' (1986) – “This would be number one if the list were in order. It's my favorite metal album. It's the perfect metal album. There's nothing that could change about this album. Nothing.”

Pantera – 'Far Beyond Driven' (1994) – “For me, this was the first time I could hear how heavy they could be, and how willing they were to do it. And it has my favorite Pantera song, 'Becoming'.”

Sepultura – 'Roots' (1996) – “This album doesn't get the credit it deserves for being so inspiring to so many people and artists. It's a shame.”

White Zombie – 'Astro-Creep: 2000 – Songs of Love, Destruction and Other Synthetic Delusions of the Electric Head' (1995) – “This album is crazy. I don't even know if people consider it a metal album, but I do, just because it has so many riffs.”
