Releases will be in June and July.
System of a Down vocalist Serj Tankian will release albums from his two side projects, Orca and Jazz-Iz Christ, in the coming months. Both CDs will be released independently through the singer's own label, Serjical Strike Records.
Orca's album, a four-act symphonic project, will be released on June 23rd. The symphony is influenced by composers such as Ennio Morricone and Philip Glass.
Jazz-Iz Christ is a collaborative project with various instrumentalists, forming a Progressive Jazz sound with elements of Rock and electronic music. The Police drummer, Stewart Copeland, is among the guest musicians on the album.
