The Brazilian Heavy Rock band, Republica, currently consists of Leo Belling (vocals), Luiz Fernando Vieira (guitar), Marco Vieira (bass), Jorge Marinhas (guitar), and Gabriel Triani (drums).

After their first two albums – Republica (1996) and There's No Fucking Electronic Modern Loop (2008) – Republica opened for Deep Purple on their last tour in Brazil, and after the excellent reaction from the audience, they were invited to mega-festivals like Lollapalooza and Rock in Rio.

The band's third album, Point Of No Return, featured Roy Z on the song Goodbye Asshole and was produced by Luis Paulo Serafim, an award-winning Brazilian producer and winner of 3 Grammys.

“Point Of No Return” was digitally released through Wikimetal Music on September 19th, the same day Republica played on the Sunset Stage at Rock In Rio, alongside Roy Z and Dr. Sin.

Point Of No Return was rated excellent by Rolling Stone magazine, receiving 4 stars and a great review. The album launch show, along with Sepultura at Carioca Club, was also a success. Check out the photos here .
