Opeth today released the tracklist for their new album, titled “Pale Communion”. The band's 11th album will be released on June 17th via Roadrunner Records.
Speaking about the sound of the new work, frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt says: “I wanted to do something more melodic with this album, so there are stronger vocal melodies and more melodies overall. I was very consistent with that throughout the songwriting process. On this album I had a plan, something I don't normally have.”
