Band reveals album title
Former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted announced details yesterday about his band's new album, "Newsted." The group revealed the album's name, "Heavy Metal Music," and the release date, August 6th.

In January of this year, Newsted had already released an introductory EP to the new album, with only four tracks. The band also released the tracklist for the CD and launched the track "Heroic Dose," available below.
The bassist is currently on a European tour. In an interview with Wikimetal in February, he said he hopes to come to South America with his new project. Check out the tracklist:
