Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has indicated that he may perform with Jason Newsted during the Gigantour tour, when the two former Metallica will perform with their respective bands.

A tweet from Mustaine made practically clear what rumors had been saying since the bands were confirmed for the festival. On June 14th, Mustaine posted the following comment:
"If I were to play a song I wrote in Metallica with Jason Newsted, which one would it be? Ride, Metal Militia, Phantom, Jump, Khutulu, or Four Horsemen?"
Last month, Newsted commented in an interview that the two might play together, although it wasn't certain. The bassist cited the song "Phantom Lord" as a possibility.

The Gigantour tour takes place in July and will also feature Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah, among others.
