Lemmy makes a statement
Motörhead has announced the cancellation of another tour, this time in the UK, due to Lemmy's health problems. The band had already been forced to cancel a European tour in July for the same reason.
The bassist and leader of the band released a statement about what happened:
“We made this decision because I’m not ready to get back on the road yet, and I’m working to come back stronger than ever. Don’t worry, I’m not going to start promoting veganism and non-alcoholic drinks, but it’s safe to say that I’ve personally been reconfiguring areas of my life to ensure that I come back healthy and strong.”.
I'm very disappointed to have to say that I wasn't ready to come back yet, but not as much as going out, playing mediocre shows and seeing my health give out before the tour. When people go to see Motörhead they expect Motörhead, and that's what you'll get as soon as I'm back fit and ready to rock out.”
Motörhead is currently promoting their 21st studio album, "Aftershock," which was released in mid-October.
