Jury delivers the decision

The jury in the case of Michael Skidmore vs. Led Zeppelin et al. today acquitted the English band of plagiarism charges. According to the jury, there was insufficient evidence to prove that "Stairway To Heaven" was copied from "Taurus" by Spirit.

Led Zeppelin released a statement:

“We are grateful for the conscientious service of the jury and delighted that the verdict was in our favor, ending the doubts about the origin of Stairway to Heaven and confirming what we have known for 45 years. We appreciate the support of our fans and look forward to putting this matter behind us.”.
