John Bonham 's Moby Dick solo was voted the best, with 36% of the votes. Dave Lombardo with Show No Mercy and Neil Peart with YYZ were practically tied for second place.
The Moby Dick solo in live performances has lasted as long as 20 minutes. On some occasions, John Bonham would put down his drumsticks and continue the solo using his hands, which in some performances would even bleed.
