Genocidio was formed in the 80s by Wanderley Perna (Guitar) and Marcão (Bass and Vocals) with a sound created by the duo – later joined by Zé Galinha (Drums) – that could already be featured on the soundtrack of Armageddon. Their music and integrity remain intact after so much time and several lineup changes. “In Love With Hatred” is the band's newest work. The album marks a return to the group's more Death Metal period, with lyrics that portray various dark themes and instrumental work that seeks to highlight these ideas, a hallmark of Genocidio throughout their more than 25-year career. |

The biggest challenge the quartet set for themselves on the new album was maintaining their tradition of recording covers of songs that influenced their career, and the re-recording of the classic " Come To The Sabbath" by Mercyful Fate is another highlight on the CD version released by Urubuz Records.
The album's first single is called " Kill Brazil ," a scathing and forceful critique of the corrupt culture ingrained in the band's home country. Check out the music video:
