Congratulations to WikiBrother Ulisses Macedo for winning the Black Sabbath biography! Check out his response:

When I was in 6th grade – I must have been about 11 years old, around 2006 – I was already starting to discover Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden, in addition to inheriting my taste for Creedence Clearwater Revival from my father.

But the first metal band I ever listened to was actually Slipknot. Like it or not, that's where it all started. Early in the year, the school required students to have a folder as part of their school supplies, and in one of the first classes we were asked to decorate it however we wanted, with something we liked: cars, movies, Barbie, etc. In short, the kids had to exercise their creativity, right?

Then I had an interesting idea: I bought those magazines that come with posters and lyrics, full of photos, of Slipknot, cut them out and glued them to the front cover, the back cover, and the back of the folder. In short, I was the only student who made a Metal folder. Everyone else was there with their cars, Harry Potter and stuff, and I had Mick Thomson and Corey Taylor and their masks on the cover. My friends went crazy. One of them was even the one who introduced me to System of a Down. I think this part is important in my "biography" because it was the first time I revealed that I was truly a Heavy Metal fanatic and it wasn't "just a phase".
