Drummer doesn't rule out participating in show
In an interview with Guitar International this week, Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward spoke about "13," the band's new album.
When questioned about his absence from the album, Ward maintained his justification that he had been presented with an unfair contract:
“I promised myself and my family that I would never again sign a contract that wasn’t signable. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, because I definitely wanted to play. Everyone thinks I left the band, but that’s not what happened. I just didn’t sign, and things took their course.”
The interviewer then asks about his relationship with Ozzy, who has praised the drummer and said he would like Ward to be present on a future album: "All the niceties and attempts at appeasement mean nothing if I don't get a fair contract .
Regarding participating in any of the band's shows, which are currently touring North America , Ward says he would do it if it were for a full show: "I'm the drummer for Black Sabbath and very capable of doing the job .
