"War Eternal" will be released in June.
Arch Enemy is finalizing the mixing of their ninth album with Jens Bogren, who has previously worked with Opeth, Paradise Lost, and Kreator. The album, titled "War Eternal," is scheduled for release in June.
Guitarist Michael Amott commented on the sound of the new work: “Musically, the album experiments with things we’ve never done before. In terms of lyrics, it’s very personal and I feel the songs have a greater dynamic and depth than ever before.”
Regarding the name of Arch Enemy's new album, Amott said: "Often life is a struggle, what I like to call 'mental chains,' from society trying to stop you from living the life you want. This is 'War Eternal'."
