The rock world continues to pay tribute to vocalist Chris Cornell, who tragically passed away this week. Ann Wilson, founder and vocalist of Heart, a band also from Seattle, performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! playing a cover of "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden.

"It's important now that we keep positive thoughts for Chris. He's on his way. We loved him and wish him well on his journey. He was and still is a beautiful soul ," commented Ann Wilson last Thursday.

Heart's sister and guitarist, Nancy Wilson, commented at the same time:

“No one is prepared to receive the news of the death of a family member. And today, Chris Cornell, my brother from the Seattle music family, is gone. I thought his voice would grace the music world forever. Devastating.”.
