Kisser speaks in an interview
In an interview with the website Metal Master Kingdom, guitarist Andreas Kisser commented on Kiko Loureiro's recent addition to Megadeth. Check out his statement:
“It’s amazing to see Brazilian musicians having this opportunity because Brazil is a very musical country. We have our own rhythm and melodies, and that can contribute a lot. It contributed a lot to Sepultura, helping us find our own sound. I think it’s very good for Kiko and very good for Megadeth too. For Kiko, it’s wonderful. A professional guy and an extraordinary musician… I’m happy to see that all the work, energy, and study he put into the music has paid off. He’s a great guy and deserves this. And for Megadeth too, Kiko should naturally incorporate Brazilian elements into the music because he is Brazilian. I’m very curious to hear the album and I’m happy for all of them.”.
In the interview, which took place in May, Kisser also commented that he already has enough material to record a new solo album, but that it has been difficult to find the time: "To do that I really need to take some time, a month or two to really dedicate myself to it .
