Photo sparks rumors of drummer's departure
AC /DC today revealed a new promotional photo of the band without drummer Phil Rudd. The photograph, which became the cover of the band's official Facebook page, has generated rumors that the musician may have left AC/DC.
Rudd did not participate in the filming of the music videos for the band's two new singles, Play Ball and Rock Or Bust , which took place earlier this month. At the time, the band stated that the drummer had a family emergency. Questioned by several fans on their Facebook page, AC/DC did not comment on Rudd's absence from the photo.
Less than a month after the announcement of the departure of founding guitarist Malcolm Young, who is being treated for dementia, rumors of Phil Rudd's departure are worrying AC/DC fans.
AC/DC's new album, titled "Rock Or Bust," will have 11 tracks and will be released on December 2nd. The first single from the CD, " Play Ball," can be heard below.
