In an interview with the Australian newspaper Bay of Plenty Time, AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd said he is interested in returning to the band. Rudd has not been with AC/DC since the second half of 2014, when he was charged with attempted murder and drug possession. The drummer was sentenced to eight months of house arrest.
In the interview, Rudd says he's excited about his solo project right now, but wouldn't rule out a reunion with AC/DC: "If Angus wants me to play, it's up to him. But I wouldn't really want to play with Axl Rose. I don't like him very much."
Rudd added: “Geoffrey [Spencer, guitarist in his solo band] is a great guitarist, as good as Malcolm, better even if you ask me .
