This week we're going to talk about a historic band with over 40 years of career! We spoke with Mick Box from the legendary Uriah Heep, a band that has gone through several phases and formations and is now making its mark on Brazilian stages.
The members of Uriah Heep spoke to us about how they created the band's characteristic sound and their relationship with Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and Black Sabbath. They also told us about David Coverdale's audition to join Uriah Heep and what it was like to be one of the first bands to play in Russia in 1987.
The musicians also shared details about their upcoming album, “Outsider,” which will be released in June. Uriah Heep will be playing in São Paulo on May 27th at Via Marquês!
On Orgulho Nacional we talked to Odilon Gonçalves, the guitarist from the São Paulo band, Vivalma! The band will be recording their new music video at a show at Manifesto on June 11th.
