The New Zealand band Sit Down In Front released a political single to celebrate the announcement of their EP, which will be released this year.

“Don’t Drink Bleach” was recently written about “the crazy times we’re living in,” according to a statement from the band to the press. “Everyone was watching the news or listening to the radio waiting for updates on how the world was doing.”

The song references the moment when then-US President Donald Trump told citizens to drink bleach to kill the COVID-19 virus.

Sit Down In Front was formed in 2017 and has since released two full-length studio albums, Red Light Runner in 2018 and Confessions Of A Pie Thief in 2020. Now, the group is preparing for an EP, which is yet to have a name and release date announced.
