The Dandy Warhols' new single features Slash on guitar

“I'd Like To Help You With Your Problem” also got a music video made by artificial intelligence

The new single from the band The Dandy Warhols , “I'd Like To Help You With Your Problem,” is part of Rockmaker , the band's twelfth album, which will be released on March 15, 2024.

Lead singer Courtney Taylor-Taylor said they wanted a guitar that sounded like 1970s acid rock, but there was no one in the band skilled enough for that, and the conversation led to only one conclusion: they would try to bring Slash in for that role.

The dream came true, and Courtney couldn't be happier with the outcome of the Guns N' Roses .

“The first time we heard it in our studio, we just stared at each other with our mouths open,” he continued. “I’d never heard him play like that, but what’s so fascinating to me is that it’s clearly him playing. As recognizable as a familiar human voice.” (via Blabbermouth )

“I'd Like To Help You With Your Problem” is the third single from the new album. The first, “Summer of Hate,” was released in mid-2023, followed by “Danzig With Myself,” featuring Frank Black (also known as Black Francis , from the Pixies ) on guitar.

The Dandy Warhols are Courtney Taylor-Taylor (vocals, guitar), Peter Holmström (guitar, keyboards), Zia McCabe (keyboards, bass, percussion) and Brent DeBoer (drums, backing vocals).
