Simone Simons Vermillion , this Friday, the 23rd . The work came accompanied by a music video for the track "Cradle to the Crave," which features a special appearance by Alissa White-Gluz , vocalist of Arch Enemy.
Speaking about the song that introduces the album to fans, Epica and Arjen Lucassen , her co-creator, commented: "'Cradle to the Grave' addresses the universal journey of facing life's ups and downs, exploring the relentless search for meaning and purpose. The song captures the essence of the human condition as a constant battle of struggle and resilience, where, despite efforts to build and conquer, there is a profound acceptance that life is brief, finite, and often unforgiving."
With the release, Simons makes it clear that Epica is his priority: “However, I have the freedom to explore other musical projects parallel to my journey with the band. Still, I had never found the opportunity to delve into a project of this magnitude until now.”
