The duo SILVER , formed by guitarist Felipe Machado ( VIPER ) and vocalist Rodrigo Cerveira , releases their first single, “Turn Around,” this Friday, the 6th. The release includes the bonus track “Sun Over Hills.”

The duo was born from the friendship of the artists, who have known each other for over 30 years and who, for the first time, sat down to compose all the songs in their repertoire together. Silver's idea is to create contemporary rock, with one foot in the tradition of arena rock. The sound, both the compositions and the arrangements, brings a modernity and freshness, without sacrificing the heaviness that characterizes the genre.

“'Turn Around' calls on people to think for themselves, escaping the manipulations of narratives that only seek to divide instead of unite,” comments Rodrigo Cerveira. “Be and think for yourself, act against ignorance and division. The song features a riff in the best Led Zeppelin , navigating between the heavy energy of the British band and the sound of the new times. Energy, weight, and contemporaneity.”

The music video, Wikimetal 's YouTube channel , was recorded at Dharma Studios. The black and white aesthetic, combined with the handheld camera, captures the musicians interacting as if in a rehearsal. The video features Rodrigo Oliveira ( Korzus ) on drums and Rob Machado ( Hollowmind ) on bass. It was directed by Raul Machado , famous for his work with artists such as Planet Hemp , Chico Science , Marcelo D2 , Sepultura , Raimundos and more.

“'Sun Over Hills' is a road trip track, it speaks of a journey fueled by music and speed, a sound that connects with the desires of the soul on one of those nights you never want to end,” adds Felipe Machado. “The riffs were inspired by an imaginary Sunset Strip, connecting Los Angeles and São Paulo in a vibe that combines the 1990s to the present day.”

The double single anticipates the debut EP Turn Around , which will be released in the second half of 2025 and will include three more original songs and a cover. In addition to handling the production, the talented Val Santos was responsible for the bass and programmed drums.

“Turn Around” is a Wikimetal Music release.
