Siegrid Ingrid , one of the driving forces of the Brazilian underground, has released the third single from their latest studio album Back From Hell (2023). The chosen track was “In Search of Light”, which features a brutal, fast and aggressive sound, available as a lyric video on the band's newly created YouTube channel.
The song's central theme is a world lived in internal imprisonment, characterized by all kinds of addiction, in which the protagonist struggles to find the strength to break free. Facing disillusionment, he seems to be losing the battle against death, which consumes him through his vices. In search of self-help, he tries to find the path towards light and redemption.
Currently a quartet, Siegrid Ingrid consists of vocalist M.Punk , guitarist André Gubber , bassist Luiz Berenguer , and drummer Rômulo Minduim .
