SHVPES has released the single “Lion's Den”, which will be part of their third album, details of which have not yet been released .

The band, led by Griffin Dickinson , son of iconic Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson , also announced an UK tour

“I think many of us have found ourselves living in a toxic environment that, at some point, we learned to call 'home',” says the frontman . Explaining the idea behind the song, Griffin opens up about a dark period, saying he sees how easily we feel comfortable in a bad place and how difficult it is to leave it.

According to Griffin, the threat of the unknown traps us in less-than-ideal situations, and the song is about taking ownership of your own life, recognizing your worth, and making those difficult decisions that, despite being frightening, ultimately become liberating.

The release of “Lion's Den” was accompanied by a music video which you can watch below.
