Animal is the band's eighth album.
The Norwegian band Shining has just released their eighth album, Animal .
Following the genre they themselves have dubbed "black jazz," the album features a blend of modern pop and power metal.
"The new album is more Muse than Meshuggah, more Ghost than Gojira, and more Biffy Clyro than Burzum," said vocalist Jørgen Munkeby in a press statement.
